One of God's Love Songs
I hear you when you are weary
and I will dry your tears
I will be at your side
in good times and in bad.
Trust me
for I gave my only begotten son
to be your bridge over troubled waters
He will comfort you, and even take your part,
When darkness comes and you feel so far apart.
He will sail behind you
and always ease your mind,
as you sail toward righteousness
in the eyes of the Lord
for He is your
bridge over trouble water.
When the water is rough,
He will rebuke the wind
and there will be great calm
within in your soul
for He is your
bridge over trouble water.
Know that God's spirit dwells within you
for God's temple is holy
and that temple you are.
He is the bridge over the troubled waters
of your life
the protection of your temple
the eternal life of your soul.
