From Pain to Praise to Anointing

We start out in Pain, for anointing sake,
But when we get troubled, we take a praise break,
Praise breaks the yokes of bondage,
Yes God inhabits our praise,
The anointing begins to fall on you,
And to a new level you'll raise.

God's Anointing is needed for this mouth of clay,
For it must be what my lord has to say,
I'm just a vessel God's chosen to use,
And the anointing of God I'd never abuse.

I've preached to the wall for so many years,
Knowing God listens, and knowing God hears,
I know that I'm called, I know that I'm chosen,
To break down the walls, and thaw out the frozen.

So hang on to your hats, and buckle your shoes,
I'm preaching the gospel, and singing the blues,
I'll never stand down for the cause of my Lord,
You won't fall asleep, and you'll never get bored.

But now it is time for me to decrease,
For it is the Lord they must see,
Humble and available before your face,
IS WHERE I WANT TO BE!
