Ujamaa Christian Poetry
Yet we Left Behind our Horse
Though we knew our destination,
We forgot about our course,
We went running with the saddle,
Yet we left behind our horse,
And instead of us progressing,
We were standing still instead,
We had forgotten that our Faith
Without the works was simply dead.
Yet the Lord, Who loves us dearly,
And want ALL to come to Him,
Gives Wisdom to the foolish,
And He brightens up the dim.
His Kingdom will not perish,
It is there for you and me,
If you ask the Lord to be your Savior
And to forgive your sins Sincerely.
