When you don't have any opposition,
When the devil doesn't have to strike back,
You must wonder truly if you're on the Way,
Or if you've slidden off track.
You sit in church and don't strive for more,
When the glory has gone and died,
You feel as if you've shriveled up,
When you've become satisfied.
