Feelings on Mother's Day

Oh! Great God, the Great I Am,
I humbly thank You for my Mom.
For she did the very best for me
each and every new dawn.

There have been thousands of dawns
since I came into this world we call Earth.
Yes it was my Mother, by the miracle of God,
who gave me birth.

A loving bond was formed at that very moment
which no one could take away as a new life began.
How precious my Mother was and I'd tell her
how much I loved her again and again.

I was probably 6 or 7 years old before
I even knew what was going on.
When I was hurt or scared,
I always ran as fast as I could to Mom.

May we each tell our Mothers on their special day
how we truly feel deep inside.
Lets hold them, hug them and send them flowers
for in our Mothers we have so much pride.
