"A Harbor Light"
A harbor light is shining
near and far where we may roam-
tho' the waves be high, sky pitch black,
it will safely lead me home.
A harbor light is shining
if I but look to see.
My fear leaves,the Captain's watching
my ship out on life's sea.
My Keeper's fare is a willing heart.
He doesn't ask for more.
I can count on Him to do His part
to bring me back to shore.
Tho'the light'ning flashes above me
and the thunder does angrily roll,
He shines a beam as bright as can be-
defeat drowns, the storm can't take its toll!
A harbor light is shining
and will stay lit until I die.
I'll then join the other sailors
sailing crystal seas in the sky.
