I Love You O God
I love you, O God,
not only for Who You are,
but for who I am and because of You.
I love you, O God,
for what you are doing for me.
I love you, O God,
for bringing Yourself and Your gifts in me out.
I love you for cleansing, healing and dealing with my heart.
You forgave and still forgive all the foolish and sinful things I do.
You called me out into Your marvelous light and show me truth and beauty.
You see things in me that no one can see not even myself.
I love you, O God,
because you are helping to mold
out of this misshapened lump of clay
a vessel of honor and a temple for You.
Out of the depths of humanity's cave,
You are mining a diamond You want to shine for You.
