saving my soul
I've traveled many roads
I've made a lot of mistakes
I've made some friend
But none know my secrets of shame
I found myself at the edge of despair
Feeling so lonely
Knowing no one cared
Searching for myself
Wondering where I lost my self-worth
Not sure what made me do it
But I feel upon my knees
My hands upon the ground and face in the dirt
I began to scream
Please save me
Save my soul before I'm too far gone
Save me from what I am
I felt him inside me
The holy spirit reach my soul that day
He saved me from my desperate rage
He carried me through
He put me on the right path
He gave me something I've never had
Hope
Faith
Love
Now when my burdens get heavy
I give them to him
My soul is saved all because of his love
